Emtek Alloys contacted us to upgrade all their systems including wireless networking, server hardware and software, and Windows workstations. They were using all standard software and some third party systems and needed a better backup and maintenance strategy in place.
Our team upgraded their server to a current Dell system with the latest server technologies. We migrated all their data from the old server and got them up and running with a new domain. We also set up their shared folder structure so they could use security groups to secure each folder to only specific users. Additionally, we upgraded their wireless network extending it out to the warehouse and migrated their accounting data to the new server as well. We upgraded all workstations to new Windows 10 computers and connected them all to the new server and domain setup. We added virus protection and setup remote access to users working from home.
